CDISC, the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium, has developed a harmonized set of standards for the collection, storage and exchange of clinical data in consultation with licensing authorities. The organization has existed for 10 years and today has more than 250 members. The standards are stable and have been productively used for many years.
